Applications

• • These are used to improve the coater runnablility, give release properties to the sheet, reduce dusting, reduce picking and improve gloss. As a part of their function, they may alter the rheological properties of the coating mixture to match the coating process requirement.
  • Lubricants are used in the coating formulation for developing the lubricating effect between the coating color,applicating unit and the paper.

  • The lubricants also improves the smoothness of the coating surface and so also controls the dusting.
